My brother and his wife were going to vacation in hong kong. I talked
them into rescheduling to thailand for a few days.

Dead drive and moving

Over a year later... I spent the weekend moving 35 miles closer to my office. After 6-1/2 years I finally got tired of commuting.
The Arcade machine now has its very own game room, in the loft at the top of the stairs.
Bad news though. The last time I tried to run the system, it wouldnt even boot up. Root cause appears to be a dead hard drive. The good geeks at work have helped out and donated not one, but TWO drives.. so I can have a hot backup ready next time it happens.
